Thanks to our importer Krekom, the Czech capital experienced its first "Grand Jour de champagne" event on November 9th; professionals but also individual amateurs have been invited to a tasting at the magnificient Obecni Dum building. From the 20 different Champagne Cuvées suggested, Delamotte Brut and Delamotte Blanc de Blancs were presented to the public.
For those who wished to learn more about the food matching with Champagne, a dinner was organised under the patronage of Mr Richard Julhin.
Excellent match with Delamotte Blanc de Blancs : its floral aromas and lovely minerality have been expressed on a crème brûlée of Bretony lobster and grilled scallops on a tomato brunoise.
