Delamotte Brut
89 points - " Light straw. Strong mineral and citrus aromas, especially lime; shows much more energy than last year's cuvee Brisk, deep, intense flavors of grapefruit and lime, with bright mineral tones adding vivacity and focus. The finish features deep apple and pear skin notes, with very good palate coverage and freshness.
91 points - "Light pink. Vibrant, clean, mineral-laced strawberry and redcurrant aromas, with a note of quinine and a gentle hint of white flowers. Pure and racy, with lively red berry flavors and a suggestion of salty minerals adding complexity and verve. Finishes with impressive precision and excellent length. Lovely."
Delamotte Blanc de Blancs 199991 points - " Bright, green-tinged silver. High-pitched, intensely minerally aromas of white flowers, lime zest and white pepper convey striking clarity and vivacity. Expansive citrus and pear on the palate, but with excellent focus and lift thanks to spice, mineral and tangy peppery notes. The flavors build and deepen into the finish, which is wonderfully fresh and quite long. I like this style."
Salon Le Mesnil 199695 points - "Green-tinged gold. Incredibly complex, intense bouquet of smoky, leesy orange, pear, licorice, minerals and bitter quinine. The superconcentrated citrus, quince and pear liqueur flavors convey an almost painful impression of extract and positively explode accross the palate. Elegant, poised and precise in a manner rare for a wine with such flavor intensity. The vibrant, minerally, extremely long finish simply doesn't let up. This should age effortleesly for a decade or two.
